He was born in 1939 in the city of Soria, in Zapatería Street.
In 1945 the family moved to a new neighbourhood built by the City Council to house its workers, opposite the Teacher Training College called "La Normal".
In 1956 he started working as a teacher of Physical Education, along with other basic subjects, in his old school.
From 1960 to 1963 he did his compulsory military service in Melilla, in the Infantry Corps, which suited his character and education, as well as his neat and overwhelming vision of the world.
From 1963 to 1964 he worked in adult education in Ólvega, a village in the province of Soria, in the literacy campaign for workers in the meat industry companies.
In 1965 he moved to Valladolid as a special needs teacher in Asprona, an Association for the Mentally Handicapped. ( I learnt this and that from the wrongly called "mentally deficient", he used to say).
In 1967 he married María del Carmen Regueiro, a primary school teacher from Valladolid, who was passionate about singing, and he started painting.
1968-1969 - His first children were born, Alberto and Nuria.
In 1970 he attended drawing and modelling classes in the School of Applied Arts in Valladolid.
In 1972 he bought his first car, a blue Seat 850.
In 1973 he held his first exhibitions along with the painters and teachers, Olea, Picatoste and Barbadillo.
In 1975 he rented a studio in Rúa Oscura where he gave painting lessons.
In 1977 his third child was born, a daughter, Silvia.
In 1978 he separated from his wife and started travelling more regularly to Soria, where he held exhibitions with Federico Díez Santamaría, a sketcher, watercolourist and quantity surveyor for the Soria City Council.
In 1980 he started creating sketches of abstract scenes and faces based on Juan Gris, Picasso, Braque and others.
In 1981 he started giving extra-curricular painting lessons at several religious schools and also rented a studio in Leopoldo Cano street.
In 1983 he met María José, his life-long partner, for the next 35 years, although they never lived together.
In 1984 he held an exhibition of abstract paintings as a new response (as in previous years) to those seminal moments in his life which triggered aesthethic undertakings.
He bought his second car, a white Opel Corsa with a boot.
In 1990 his delicate relationship with reality peaked his tireless dedication to teaching, his systematic, almost military, approach to his art work, at home looking after his ageing parents as well as his children.
In 1991 his mother, Ruperta Rangil, passed away.
The film "The Silence of the Lambs" is released, which begins a period of admiration towards the protagonist, Jodie Foster, who, in the words of the artist, "had seeing eyes and not eyes to be seen".
In 1992 he began to form part of the jury in painting competitions, as requested by Acor and other companies.
In 1997 his father, Dionisio Pascual, passed away.
He began to hold regular exhibitions , both nationally and internationally, organised by the J&C Art Gallery, either alone or with his dear friends from the GROUP 5 (Mario Pérez, A. Martín "Pampa", Julio Barbero and Miguel Perrino) and with the art dealer and friend, José Sansegundo.
He bought his third car, a maroon Daewo Nubira.
In 1998 his first grandchild was born, Rodrigo.
He rented a studio in El Peso Street.
In 2000 he stopped painting
In 2003 he retired saying "now it is time to learn English and Computing
In 2004 his second grandchild was born, María.
He learnt how to type using an electric typewriter.
2005 He learnt how to use some computer programs (Word, Excel, Paint)
He collected The Best Thousand Recipes and he edited, printed and bound them for the whole family.
He learnt English, using methods such as Vaughan and Milton.
2007 He completed his famous collection of "Las pelis cutres de Papa", (Dad´s grotty films), beyond series B or Z. (later donated to the Castilla y León Public Library).
2010 The grandparents´ house was closed and his trips to the city and province of Soria ended. The City Council had condemned the neighbourhood and sold the land to a building company. He said goodbye for ever to the Sorianazos, (those who have left Soria but on their return behave as if they had never left, as he said)
2013 He held his last exhibition.
2015 He acquired a taste for criminal investigation series ("La Lisbon" and "La Bones"), and started to watch again - - at top volume - his old collection of Westerns.
He passed away on 2nd February 2018, from a bilateral pneumonia, almost as he had imagined; an inconsequential derailment, a mere entry into the abyss or his typical "distancing himself" from life´s dramatic events.
